The Great Steak Challenge on Man v. Food

Adam first went to Chaps in Baltimore to try the pit beef sandwich. It is made out of bottom round cooked in the pit for a couple of hours, sliced deli style, and topped off with onions and tiger sauce which is made of horse radish and mayonnaise, put on a kaiser roll. That sandwich alone made me want to head out to Baltimore!

Before the challenge Adam headed to Ricky’s Crab House and Seafood Restaurant. Adam was super excited totumblr_kq139bhLsg1qzz9uvo1_400 try the crab cakes. Adam was totally in his glory trying the crab cakes, and he also was psyched about trying the blue crabs. I love crab legs but never tried blue crab, after watching this episode I have to try it. Adam made it look so juicy and succulent.

Adam’s challenge this week was at a place called Steak & Main. For the challenge Adam had to eat 5 cuts of meat and a lb. of sides in one hour.The steaks in the challenge were an 8 oz. filet mignon, a 12 oz. of prime rib, 2, 13 oz.delmonicos,a 12 oz. NY strip, and a 16 oz. flat iron steak. Dozen’s have tried but only 4 have succeeded. If Adam were to succeed he would gets a hundred bucks, if not he would owe one hundred and forty bucks. 40 min. into the challenge Adam only had one steak left. When the buzzer went off though Adam still had a few bites left on his plate.Unfortunately Adam could not finish the challenge. As far as I’m concerned Adam still totally kicked ass. I mean, he only had a few ounces left. If he had just a few more seconds I know he would have finished.
