Stacy had the girls do the zip rank challenge because they were so freaked out in the beginning about the leap of faith. Everyone truly enjoyed going down the zip rank though. It really looked like so much fun. I want to try that sometime for sure.

Jessie picked all the ladies up the night before the triathlon so they can get set up in their hotels because they had to get up extremely early to start the triathlon. Everyone was pretty nervous about completing especially Mary. Stephanie really tried her best to help everyone keep their cool though. During the swim Mary and Rita stuck together because neither one of them really like the water. Lanissa had the most trouble on the bikes. Stephanie finished the bikes first. She was also first to finish the Triathlon, that was a huge goal to accomplish.  Then one by one the rest of the girls finished the triathlon. That was such an emotional moment to see each and every one of the ladies complete such a huge task.

As soon as the triathlon was over the girls and their families all boarded the Mariner of The Seas ship. Immediately after they all got a makeover. Then the moment had arrived for the final weigh in. Everyone of them walked in looking like movie stars. Lanissa lost 61 lbs. altogether. Rita lost 33 lbs. she was only 2 lbs. from her goal. Mary lost 51 lbs. Tiffany lost 46 lbs. Stephanie lost 51 lbs. and passes her goal. Everyone of them have grown closer bonds and have more confidence then ever before.

Then Jessie took the ladies on a weekend getaway to Lahoya for working so hard. Jessie took the ladies out to eat so they knew how to pick the best choices off a menu. The next day Jessie brought the women to practice with the US Women’s National Softball team. Mary ended up getting hit in the chin, but she was still brave enough to continue.

At the therapy session Stacy showed everyone pictures of themselves the way they used to look, then had them burn the pictures to say goodbye. I thought that was a great idea because when you loose weight it is easy to put it back on, and maybe closure is needed to never go back.

When the girls went surfing I was so jealous. It looked like so much fun. Stephanie was brave enough to stand up although she fell right off, Rita stood up as well but she stayed on the board. Everyone was so proud because she always wanted to surf. What a wonderful trip the girls had.

This week was the second to last weigh in. Rita lost 5 lbs. but still has 9 lbs. to lose. Tiffany lost 6 lbs. and also has 9 lbs. to lose. Stephanie only lost 2 lbs. but she only has 7 lbs. to go. Mary lost 6 lbs, and only has to lose 4 more lbs. to hit her goal. Lanissa lost 10 lbs, and went above and beyond her goal already. Watch next week to see the ladies in the triathlon and to see their final transformation.

Next Stephanie, Tiffany and their families went to an amusement park. When they were bigger they weren’t able to ride roller coasters because they didn’t fit but this time they rode all kinds of roller coasters. They were just so happy to have that experience with their kids without worry.

During therapy with Stacy Kaiser Lanissa admitted she loved to sing but had a fear of singing around crowds. To help her conquer her fear Stacy had arranged the opportunity for Lanissa to sing at a ballpark.

Then The ladies all decided to get together and take a salsa class. They all had a lot of fun, plus it was a good workout. The ladies even got to dance with hot guys. Before they lost the weight they never would have been comfortable dancing sexy like that.

When the girls met up with Jessie at the gym, he incorporated resistance training, with 10 lb. dumbbells and body balls. Resistance training helps tone and also slows down the aging process.

Later Mary and Tiffany went to Fanta Sea Yachts to begin to plan a huge 40th birthday part for Stephanie. The Yacht was absolutely gorgeous.  The girls did food tasting to be sure the food they were feeding their guests was good. I was truly impressed to see their self control by only taking one bite of each thing. I personally don’t have that kind of will power at this point.

Opening night for the OC Fliers Lanissa was there to sing “America the Beautiful”. She was really nervous, but she did an outstanding job.

At the weigh in Jessie reminded the ladies that this is the point when a lot people usually plateau so not to get discouraged. Tifffany weighed 192 lbs, lost 4 lbs and a total of 29 lbs, and has 21 lbs. to go. Rita weighed 160 lbs. lost 3 lbs. a total of 17 lbs. and has 18 lbs. to go. Rita was very upset about her low week. Stephanie weighed 210 lbs. lost 5 lbs. a total of 34 lbs. and has 16 lbs. to go. Mary weighed 176 lbs. lost 7 lbs. a total of 34 lbs. with 16 lbs. to go. Lanissa weighed 297 lbs, lost 6, lbs. a total of 38, lbs with 12 lbs. to go. It was so exciting for Lanissa to break the 300 lb. mark. The ladies did not hit their goal this week, but they still did an amazing job.

The show continued with the girls playing a game of Softball. They all noticed how much more energy they have now that they are working out. It is obviously paying off because they won the game. It was a bit disappointing to them that they weren’t going out for drinks and appetizers afterward but they also knew it would be worth it.

Next the ladies had the privilege of learning to make healthy snacks from a celebrity chef. They made baked chicken breaded with corn flakes, caramelized popcorn with dried fruit and nuts, and frozen yogurt banana pops rolled in granola. After wards Mary made the chicken at home, then she told her kids they would have to start doing chores, and they could no longer get snacks without asking.

Jessie had the ladies do a mini triathlon to prepare for the real thing since they are half way through their journey. I was really impressed to see them all complete half of what the triathlon will be. It was also nice to see Stephanie stand by  Tiffany’s side to make sure she kept going.

At the weigh in Tiffany weighed in at 196 lbs. lost 6 lb.  a total 25 lbs. and has 25 lbs. to go, Lanissa, weighed 303 lbs, lost 8 lbs. a total of 32 lbs. and has 18 lbs. to go, Rita weighed in at 163 lbs. lost 4 lbs. a total of 14lbs and has 21 lbs. to go,  Mary weighed 183 lbs. lost 4lbs.  and has 23 lbs. to go. Stephanie weighed 215 lbs. lost 8 lbs. a total 29 lbs.. Since they hit their goal as a team all the ladies received a nintendo wii.

The  girls are training for a triathlon. They will ride bikes, run, and swim. This week as they practiced I was in awe of  how hard they were working to change mentally and physically.

After training, all the ladies met Stacy Kaiser in white jump suits and they wrote their excuses in marker on the suits. Then they had to take off the suits and  look at themselves in the mirror in swim suits and see what the excuses did to them.

After a couple of the girls had therapy sessions (which was all too winy for me) and they all went swimming they showed them all preparing their dinners. Then they all met up for a night out. It was a huge surprise for them to get compliments from men that they though would normally never hit on them.

At the weigh in Rita weighed in at 167 lbs. and lost 5 lbs. Stephanie weighed 223 lbs. and lost 6 lbs. Tiffany weighed 202 lbs. and lost 5 lbs. Mary weighed 187 lbs. and lost 7 lbs.  Lanissa, weighed 311 lbs. and lost 13 lbs. They are all doing a fantastic job! All the ladies got beautiful sapphire and diamond necklaces for hitting their goal as a team.

I wish I would have watched this season from the beginning to see what was driving them all to lose the weight, how they  all became friends, and what their goal weight is. Actually I might just go back and watch the first few episodes to know more about the girls.
