imagesThis is the week we have all been waiting for. Hollywood week! I was really excited to see what Elen Degeneres had to bring to the show. She made some pretty funny comments to the contestants to keep the mood light although she probably made a few of them feel like crap with  comments like “that was crazy in a bad way”. With Simon Leaving the show she’s going to have to be really mean to keep the ratings up. I don’t think thats possible though, Ellen is just too sweet.

I was extremely impressed with  Andrew Garcia performing Paula Abdul’s straight up. His voice reminds me so much of Danny Goki’s. I also really liked the rocker girl Mary Powers and Michael Lynche (the guy who’s wife was in labor).

It was sad to see Vanessa Wolfe go. Even though she wasn’t very good I liked her personality and it is always nice to see the poor girl make it. Oh well. There were actually a lot of people I liked that didn’t make it but I guess not everyone can make it.

If you’re an American idol fan you might just want to tune in to the 2009 American Music Awards Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8/7 c., Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Glambert, and Chris Daughtry are all supposed to be performing there.

Today on the View the “American Idol”  judge Kara DioGuardi was the guest host in place of Elisabeth Hasselbeck who is out on maternity leave.

She discussed last seaskaraons “bikini girl” and how she didn’t think Kara knew what she was talking about as she critiqued her. She also discussed the moment when she came on stage with “bikini girl” at the season finale and  flashed  her bikini. Kara said it was to show her that the show is serious and you have to have real talent to make it on the show.

There is just something about Adam that has people going crazy. He really should have won Idol. Between his theatrical stage presence and his amazing voice with that unique scream, along with his confidence in his sexuality creates true success.
