The Ladies played volleyball and enjoyed the work out when the show started. Then the show continued at the grocery store with Mary. Obviously it is hard to shop for a diet when you have children. The kids kept trying to sneak things in the cart and talk their mother into getting what they want. So this made Stacy decide to surprise the ladies with hidden footage of their children eating poorly. The ladies all realized not only do they have to change their eating habits but also their childrens.
The show continued with the girls playing a game of Softball. They all noticed how much more energy they have now that they are working out. It is obviously paying off because they won the game. It was a bit disappointing to them that they weren’t going out for drinks and appetizers afterward but they also knew it would be worth it.
Next the ladies had the privilege of learning to make healthy snacks from a celebrity chef. They made baked chicken breaded with corn flakes, caramelized popcorn with dried fruit and nuts, and frozen yogurt banana pops rolled in granola. After wards Mary made the chicken at home, then she told her kids they would have to start doing chores, and they could no longer get snacks without asking.
Jessie had the ladies do a mini triathlon to prepare for the real thing since they are half way through their journey. I was really impressed to see them all complete half of what the triathlon will be. It was also nice to see Stephanie stand by Tiffany’s side to make sure she kept going.
At the weigh in Tiffany weighed in at 196 lbs. lost 6 lb. a total 25 lbs. and has 25 lbs. to go, Lanissa, weighed 303 lbs, lost 8 lbs. a total of 32 lbs. and has 18 lbs. to go, Rita weighed in at 163 lbs. lost 4 lbs. a total of 14lbs and has 21 lbs. to go, Mary weighed 183 lbs. lost 4lbs. and has 23 lbs. to go. Stephanie weighed 215 lbs. lost 8 lbs. a total 29 lbs.. Since they hit their goal as a team all the ladies received a nintendo wii.
